Why is the traffic so awkward and jerky? As far as I can see Lockheart, that AI bus may be acting that way because of badly done traffic paths. If the roads are not perfectly lined up (and that might be done because of the undulation roads in places) but the traffic paths still connect, then the AI will be jerky. If this actually a route being developed for Omsi 2, then the version it is being made on will undoubtedly be a beta/alpha version from M+R, and their new AI logarithms may not be totally finished and perfected yet. My two cents. Anyway, this still looks like a very graphically well done map, even if there are a few little issues with it at the moment. I once again viewed the video and i came to the conclusion that they were driving around on Omsi 1.

That seems impossible within a dense builded city like this. However they seem to manage it very well. There can be some reasons for that. It can be the buildings they have made. Could be that not all of them are 3D. Along the route we barely have a chance to do a view in a side street so there's a good chance they concentrate on the main road only and by that way reduce the use of scenery, splines and tiles. For what i could find on the net, this project started somewhere in 2011.

Seeing all those custom made objects they needed that time to make it what it is now. It's also confirmed that this Hamburg map is meant for Omsi 2.

I couldn't blame them for that decision, this map needs a better use of system resourses to function properly for everyone. Omsi 2 offers that. In my opinion this is map making from the highest order and something we didn't have seen until now. Even the Berlin 89 made by Omsi's founding fathers isn't that sophisticated.

It states the following things: Some news about Hamburg map and O405N1 I have been speaking with author of the project Darius and I am really grateful that he make some time to chat with me about future with this addon: So as you already know, map is in Hamburg, there are 2 fully drivable lines, linie 109 and 688, one night and one day route. Linie 109 is in one direction 36min of driving, while 688 is 16min drivable line, there are also other AI lines which are not drivable, but may be in future (1,2,3,4,5,6,20,23,25,26,35,36,37,112,115,118,120,124,179,183,600,601,603,608,609,640) Speaking about Mercedes O405N1 which comes with map, he has ZF gearbox, there are few different versions from different years of build and of course different repaints from company's which drive in Hamburg. Addon should be finished this summer as an PAYWARE addon, so keep fingers crossed, we are waiting for this map!!
