Here he takes his expertise in the blues and spreads it around a diverse sampling from that venerable idiom, again finding material from many different eras and revivifying many of the older chestnuts in his inimitable manner with the expert and highly empathic support of bassist Sam Jones and longtime cohort Arthur Taylor.
