Because I found that if I remove the floppy after the first reboot it all works fine. One issue I'm still having is getting the CD drive recognised, though this is not a critical issue. The other big issue I had was network drivers, I used the ones from Broadcom's website which were version 7.x, and while this did allow me to connect to the internet, I was unable to authenticate againist out domain.
